Before Your Appointment
What to Expect
How Long It Takes
Most OB ultrasounds take 20–45 minutes depending on the scan type. Anatomy scans may take a bit longer to ensure full visualization.
What to Bring
For first trimester scans, a full bladder helps visibility. Second trimester and beyond, an empty bladder is usually fine. Bring any prior imaging if you have it.
Do I Need a Referral?
No referral needed to book. However, if your OB requested a specific scan, bring that order so our sonographer knows exactly what to document.
