More Than a CIMT
Full Doppler vs. Basic CIMT
A basic CIMT measures arterial wall thickness using B-mode imaging. It's a useful early marker, and we offer it as a standalone $99 screening.
This $250 study goes further. It adds color and spectral doppler to measure actual blood flow velocities, detect stenosis (narrowing), and grade any blockages present. CIMT measurement is included, but it's one component of a complete diagnostic study.
The full doppler study evaluates:
